Chat Roulette is the greatest thing since sliced bread!!!
One could call Chat Roulette Skype's bastard child but that would not do it justice. CR is incredibly entertaining and will definately show you why the Internets should be policed.
CR is basically what its name implies, you can log on here and start video chatting with random users. At any time you can click on next and be paired with another stranger. Of course anything can happen and most often than not you could be staring at a guys dong.
Here are some hilarious screen shots from Chat Roulette and check out the NSFW video after the jump to see what I am talking about.

Essential 5 - Sublime
I remember when I first got into Sublime. It was the summer of 96 and Bradley Nowell (Sublime singer) had just died. Of course leave it to MTV to capitalize on this and play the chit out of their first single "What I Got" off their self titled major label debut. I bought the cd and heard it every single day for about a year.
In college I got into Sublime again and discovered their other albums and in a sense discovered them again. Sublime is one of those bands that most people know at least one song so instead of mainstays like Santeria, What I Got and Wrong Way on my list, I will put my favorite songs from when I truly discovered Sublime.

Essential 5 - Pink Floyd
Everyone who knows me knows this was coming sooner rather than later. Pink Floyd is by far my all time favorite band. It has defined my musical taste for a while and will continue to do so.
This essential 5 was extremely difficult to do but I mercifully narrowed it down. Needless to say, there will be many honorable mentions. Here it is, enjoy.

SYL Video Pick - The Third And The Seventh
The first time I watched this video I was amazed by the level of cinemotography and the sheer scope of it. I wondered how they were able to get certain angles, shots, etc... Then I found out that all of it, I mean ALL is CGI. That is Computer Generated Imagery. That's right, all that you are about to see is not real! It was made by Alex Roman, check out his Vimeo account here. This is truly a work of art. I dare you to not be amazed. Watch it full-screen & if you doubt the authenticity of it, click here for the making of.
Essential 5 - Kings Of Leon
Have you ever heard a song you've really liked and want to hear more but don't want to get bogged down downloading random songs or albums, well essential 5 is here to help you out.
The inauguration edition features one of my favorite bands. KOL is near and dear to my heart for the simple fact that it has become somewhat of a behemoth in the past year or so. I saw them before Youth and Young Manhood came out at the theater MSG NYC. They were opening up for the strokes and it was truly amazing. ALL of the songs are from their first three albums and its no coincidence, Only By The Night is CHIT!
